Breathing Life into an Organic Urban Experience

A café where transparency, nature, and calm come together to create an inviting destination within the city.

In the design of this project, our goal was to create a space that, beyond visual beauty and aesthetic appeal, clearly reflects the brand identity and the concept of “organic.” The design approach was shaped around three core principles: invitation, psychological comfort, and organic identity. 1. Connection Between Interior and Exterior The café entrance and storefront were designed with full transparency to directly capture the attention of passersby. Extending from this, the outdoor seating area—featuring plants and lightweight furniture—creates a smooth psychological transition between the street and the interior space. This connection allows the café to be perceived not merely as a place of consumption, but as an urban destination. 2. Color Selection Light green and soft beige evoke freshness, health, and nature. The brick tone used on the façade creates a striking contrast and subconsciously attracts attention from pedestrians. The patterned flooring, inspired by traditional motifs, bridges a sense of cultural familiarity with the café’s modern identity. 3. Lighting Design Interior lighting, composed of spotlights and integrated ambient lighting, creates a bright and transparent atmosphere. Exterior lighting has also been carefully designed to ensure that the café maintains its character and visual presence at night, remaining inviting and distinctive. 4. Organic Identity The use of natural materials and nature-inspired colors clearly reinforces the brand’s organic identity. The presence of plants throughout the space not only adds vitality but, according to environmental psychology, helps reduce stress and promotes a sense of calm, health, and well-being. 5. Customer Experience The flexible design of both indoor and outdoor seating areas accommodates different customer behaviors—from quick, short visits to longer, more relaxed stays. This adaptability significantly enhances the overall customer experience. Overall, the café design is based on principles that add real value to the project: visual appeal, psychological comfort, and a strong organic brand identity. These principles are consistently and purposefully implemented across all elements, from the exterior façade to color selection and furniture design. If you want, I can also adapt this version for a portfolio, competition submission, or website presentation, each with a slightly different tone and structure.

This wall extends toward the staircase, connecting vertical levels through a gentle current of life. At the end of its path, it meets a curved ochre-toned wall — its earthy hue inviting softness, movement, and human connection into the space. A quiet but powerful shift occurred beneath. We replaced the old reddish-brown flooring with soft, natural-toned wood. This new surface breathes — it reflects light more openly, offering a calm, grounding experience that bridges the human body with the earth beneath.

We didn’t just select materials. We shaped energy. This home now welcomes people — not just furniture.
